Returns and guarantee

You may return ordered parts within fourteen days of receipt without giving any reason. The full periods and your rights are set out in our withdrawal notice, which also contains the model withdrawal form.

The quickest route: write to magazin@auto-erb.it quoting your order number. Send the part back within fourteen days of your notice, or bring it to our store in Merano. We refund the purchase price including outbound delivery within fourteen days, using the same means of payment.

You bear the cost of return shipping. No cost arises if you hand the part in at the store.

Inspect the part as you would in a shop. Opened or damaged packaging alone does not prevent a return.

If a part has already been fitted, painted, coded or adapted, that goes beyond inspection. We may then withhold a reasonable amount for the loss in value. For electronic components coded to a vehicle this normally equals the full value, because the part can no longer be resold.

Independently of the right to return, a statutory guarantee of twenty-four months from delivery applies. It covers parts that were defective from the outset — not normal wear in use.

Within that period you are entitled to repair or replacement at your choice, provided the chosen remedy is not disproportionate. If neither succeeds, you may reduce the price or rescind the contract.

There is no deadline for reporting a defect. Tell us as soon as you notice it — that makes matters easier, but it is not a condition of your rights.

If we sent the wrong part, or the shipment arrived damaged, we bear the return costs. Write to magazin@auto-erb.it with a photograph — we settle it without forms and without delay.

Anyone providing a VAT number during payment is purchasing in the course of a trade, business or profession. In that case there is no right of withdrawal. Liability for defects under the rules for commercial sales remains.

Workshops and businesses receive an invoice showing VAT against the number provided.
